It was wonderful to welcome so many to the Senior School campus last Saturday, 13 April, for the first Oswestry School Archives Open Day where we celebrated our school’s fascinating history and heritage across seven centuries from its foundation in 1407.
We are thrilled to hear that our 4th Form pupils William, Christian and Gruff have arrived safely at Kearsney College, South Africa, to begin a term of learning as part of our student exchange programme.
Oswestry School pupils, Sienna (3rd Form) and Charlotte (2nd Form), shone during the indoor hardball season. Over the course of four weeks, the two contributed with both bat and ball, and in the field in a development league held at Sundorne Games Hall.
We were delighted to hear about the adventures of two members of the Harrison family, who attend Oswestry School...the boys received a postcard from a family who found the message in a bottle they had sent whilst on holiday in Angelsey!
3rd Former, Reuben, has completed a first successful season playing for the ISFA u14 England Squad. He finished the season achieving his first International Cap, being selected to play for the England ISFA u14 v Welsh Schools FA. Reuben played his part in supporting the team to a fantastic 2-0 win.
