Pupils, teachers, parents, and friends of Oswestry School have raised an outstanding £2,539 for Severn Hospice in a socially distanced sponsored walk.
Each year pupils take part in a sponsored walk, but owing to COVID 19, this year was an extraordinary event that was held within lockdown restrictions. People were asked to walk where and when they could, from trekking outside, to walking around a garden, or recording a step count for the day.
In a separate challenge, we asked participants to send in the distance they had walked. Tallying up the kilometres, the total was 1,700km, a little further than Budapest, Hungary!
