Scholarships

Scholarships are available for candidates showing evidenced talent in, and commitment to, Academic subjects, Art and Design, Languages, Performing Arts, and Sport.

Scholarships can be worth up to a maximum of 50% of the school fees.

Additional financial support is available through a means-tested bursary.

Please read the Scholarship Information Sheet to determine if your child is eligible, or call to discuss eligibility with the Admissions Team. Each candidate will need to register and complete a scholarship application form before being considered for an Award or Scholarship.

Excellent Inspection

We are delighted to report that our full ISI Inspection 2016 resulted in the best possible outcome for Oswestry School. The report showed the school to be one of the best in Shropshire and the surrounding area with the school being awarded six top grades out of nine. We were found to be compliant in all areas and ‘excellent’ in our curriculum and co-curriculum provision, personal development, pastoral care, boarding, pupil welfare and governance (the top grading).
