    OSWESTRY SHOW

    Every year the school has a stand at the Oswestry Show and this year will be no exception. If you are going to the show do feel free to drop in; you will be most welcome.  Prospective parents will be able to speak to various members of the staff and collect literature about the school.

     

    NEXT OPEN MORNING

    Saturday October 4th 2008

     

    You are invited to join us at our Senior School (Years 5 to 13) Open Morning, on

    Saturday October 4th from 9.30am to 12.30pm.

    Although we are not normally open on a Saturday, visitors will have the opportunity to see the school on a ‘typical’ morning.

    We require all applicants to attend for an informal interview with the Headmaster or, in the case of the pre-prep department, the Headmistress.  Prospective pupils then spend a day in school with us (or an overnight stay in the case of boarders).   We also take the report from the current school into account, where applicable.  

    The main points of entry into the School are at 2, 4, 6+, 9, 11, 13 or 16 years, but pupils are accepted at any age, provided there are places and the entry requirements are met.  A pupil then has the opportunity of a continuous education through to "A" levels at 18 years.  Pupils from other schools are accepted each year into the Sixth Form. Admission is dependent upon a good report from the previous school, an interview, and satisfactory GCSE results.
