Bellan Pupils Have A Capital Christmas

Two Bellan pupils had a special Christmas holiday this year.

Ellie was invited to No 11 Downing Street to a Christmas Party hosted by Gordon Brown.  Ellie was nominated by her mum through Booktrust, a charity which encourages a love of reading.

Ellie travelled to London where she met Father Christmas.  Also present were the author Jacqueline Wilson and the illustrator Nick Sharratt.

Kinvara went to the Olympia Christmas Show in London where she was introduced to the Duchess of Cornwall.

Kinvara has her arm in a sling having been kicked by one of her ponies.  She is well on the way to recovery now.
