U13, U12 v Abbey Gate School (h) 3pm

U13s Won 20 - 1

The team quickly settled into their game and had achieved a good lead by the end of the first quarter.  Positions were changed within the team but they remained focussed and increased their lead by halftime.  Once more positions were changed, resulting in some surprising skills being shown in unfamiliar positions, particularly with good interceptions and better space awareness.

U12s Won 11 - 9

The team struggled during the first quarter - fishwives and headless chickens springs to mind!!  They settled better in the second quarter, becoming more focussed and less wild with their passing which enabled them to close the gap on Abbey Gate.  The next quarter was very exciting as Oswestry's shooting improved and, by the end of the quarter, the U12s were only 1 goal behind.  With some changes of positions and much better passing and moving into space, the team kept their heads and deserved their win.  They are improving all the time - well done everyone!
