Ski Aosta 2007

Pupils Depart

Please do not over pack or fill the red luggage bag to bursting point!  Your hand luggage, ie a rucksack small enough to fit under the coach seat, should contain everything for the journey.  Be sure to pack one pair of ski socks in the ruck sack.  A small towel and some freshening-up toiletries are advised for the breakfast stop in France on the Sunday morning, April 15th.

Please arrive at Last Day at 14.30 (2.30pm) and register with Mrs Chidlow and Mrs Morris in the Powis Music Room.

Make sure that you bring any outstanding travel documents - you will not be allowed to travel if all documents have not been received.

Do not board the coach until permission has been given.

Channel crossing P&O Ferries Dover-Calais at 22.00 (10.00pm).

Anticipated arrival in Aosta early afternoon on Sunday 15th April.

IMPORTANT - SKIING AT LA THUILE

Because of deteriorating snow conditions at Pila, the party will now be skiing at the resort of La Thuile, a 45 minute coach ride away from Aosta.  The snow remains good at La Thuile where 37/38 lifts are open and there is 300cm of snow on the upper slopes and 40cm on the lower slopes.  Click here to be directed to the Interski webpage on La Thuile where you will find up to date snow reports and webcam images.
