1st XI, U15/U14 v Tettenhall College (h) 2.30pm

1st XI Won 5-0

Playing at home and with familiar faces cheering us on from the sidelines, we had the upper hand.

Right from the beginning, and up to the last second of the match, the 1st XI dominated the game.  The ball hardly ever strayed into our half with everyone working hard and striving for every ball.

Within the first ten minutes of the match, Charlotte Dingwall-Fordyce struck the ball from just inside the 25 yard line and Sally Roberts was there on the post to deflect it in.

Excellent play from everyone - everyone talking, everyone encouraging each other and 5 terrific goals from Charlotte Canlett, Charlotte D-F, Lara and Sally!  The score at the end was 5-0.

U15/14 Drew 0-0

The U15s also had a good game and had improved massively with Oswestry dominating the first half and with many a chance on goal, some missing by the goal by only centimetres.

In the second half Tettenhall camer back into the game and fought hard, but our defence stayed strong and the game ended with a 0-0 draw.

Well done girls - a brilliant start!
