Staff INSET

Staff INSET all day including morning presentations on Child Protection by Frances Phelps and Dorothy Elliot of the Shropshire Children and Young People's Directorate.

'Frances has been an adviser in Shropshire since 1994 after senior and middle management posts in secondary schools. The results of Frances's previous work with the University of Exeter were reported nationally and internationally. As part of her current post, Frances is a member of the Area Child Protection Committees' Training Team, works within other inter-agency partnerships to further local strategies for working with children and young people, is the education lead for Schools for Health, the nationally accredited local healthy schools scheme for Shropshire.'
