Oswestry Olympians Sprint Triathlon

Oswestry School, 9.00am

Oswestry Olympians 6th annual Sprint triathlon is based at Oswestry School on Sunday the 18th of July. The race incorporates a 400-metre pool swim. A 26km, rewarding, sometimes technically challenging bike, with fast descents, and to finish a 5km, 3 lap run of a beautifully manicured undulating sports field. The pool swim, quiet country roads, and traffic free run course makes it an ideal race for novices and young competitors, (minimum age 16yrs on race day). We also offer a relay option, where three athletes each complete one discipline. The race is very popular and as in previous years, we expect the entry list to fill up quickly. On reaching the entry limit we will keep a small waiting list to replace those who have to withdraw.

Trophies for top three male / female places overall, and for first in all categories, male / female.

Goodie bag / race momento for all finishers.

The Pool Swim is 400 metres and the first swim is planned at 9.00 am.

The Bike section of 26km is out on quiet roads with a hill or two!!!

Our 5km Run is on beautifully manicured undulating sports ground.
