Its easy to sum up this game, we went into the game unprepared and finished it in a style you would associate with an unprepared side.
We barely had a shot on goal and really didn’t give a good account of ourselves against a poor Shrewsbury team. This is a game that we should have won and I believe that on any other day we would have done just that. We conceded 3 sloppy first half goals, and, from then on, heads went down and tempers flared. We showed a poor approach to a game that needed a professional performance. Although we only conceded one more goal in the second period we never looked threatening when in most games this season we have shown good promise in front of goal. Much improvement is needed if we are to pick up a much needed win from one of the final 4 games.
