As Oswestry School pupils got down to exams this week, four new boarders have been lucky to see something of our local area instead.
After a day on the Welsh coast with Mr Arnott on Monday, Alvaro and Pao (Year 9) and Vitali and Vasili (Year 7) spent today in Chester with Miss Shaw. They took a tour round the old city walls, watched the town crier put an American woman in the stocks, and enjoyed a picnic lunch whilst feeding the pigeons.
They then had free time to browse the shops and collect some souvenirs and presents for their families.
