Student of the Year

Laura Parry has been voted Student of the Year by Walford & North Shropshire College for her work at Oswestry School’s Bellan House.

Laura (17), a former pupil of the Marches School, is studying for her Level 2 Diploma in Childcare and Education. She has been working at Bellan House for 2 days each week since September and has been involved in pupil support, taking part in lessons and a wider range of activities. “Bellan House is a lovely school,” said Laura, “Everybody is so friendly. I love what I am doing here.”

 “Laura is an absolute star,” said Mrs Jackie Greatorex, Head of Bellan House. “She is a very special young lady with a bright future.”
