North Shropshire U13 Girls Doubles (Ellesmere College) 1.30pm

The A couple of Lucy Williams and Daisy Tickner worked very well together, with Lucy serving well and both girls attempting to play at the net.  They played excellently and conceded only one set, winning the other 6 in the tournament.

Georgina Mercer and Paige Baker, the B couple, also played some good tennis but were not as consistent. However, they achieved 2 draws, 1 win and 2 losses in their part of the tournament.

This was an excellent display from all four girls in what was their first tournament.

Well done.
