Friday 23rd May
Own Clothes Day

Wear a Bright Shirt In Aid of the LEAP School

This was a busy day for raising money for our charity, LEAP, a school which is dedicated to raising the profile of education for the township children in South Africa.

An Own Clothes Day, with the theme of the "Brightest Shirt", saw many bright clothes being worn to school!

At lunchtime, the  Sixth Form arranged a netball match between the 1st netball team and the 1st rugby team.  As usual, this was a hotly-contested competition with everyone playing their hardest but the rugby boys managed to edge ahead to finish champions by 6-5.

The whole day produced another £513 98 for LEAP; thank you to everyone who took part.  This means that since September the school has raised £3,238.87 towards a computer room for LEAP - a wonderful achievement!
