Oswestry School pupils have raised a further £264 for Hope House in last term’s Christmas Fair. This adds to the success of the Currency Cash-in, when students and staff gave over £100 by donating their unused holiday currency rather then changing it back into sterling.
Vanessa Lloyd, the County Appeals Co-coordinator for Hope House, visited Oswestry School to receive the cheque from three of the top fundraisers. She said: “We are very grateful to the students of Oswestry School for their continued support. Initiatives like these make a tremendous difference.”
