We are organising a fund-raising day for the RNLI, which I am sure you will agree is a worthy cause. A representative will be coming into the school to show the children a film and to talk about the organisation. On the day we would like the children to come to school dressed with a warm blue and white/nautical theme and make a small donation in the region of £1. Bikinis and swim suits are to be left at home as we do not expect the children to look blue!
There will also be a cake sale on that day and welcome your donations of cakes and if you are able to make cakes for the cake sale, please deliver them first thing on the Friday morning. NO NUTS in the cakes please – we have children with severe nut allergies. Cakes will be on sale from 10p in the afternoon. There will also be a representative from the RNLI selling items from 3.00 – 4.00pm.
Here are some pictures from the day. In case you could be confused, children from the Reception class had been performing "Little Red Riding Hood" in class and are wearing those costumes over their nautical wear!
