UCAS Convention (GMEX, Manchester) am

There will be a whole year group trip to the UCAS Convention (University and Colleges Admission Service) at the Manchester GMEX (now called Manchester Central Convention Complex) on 6th March 2008. There will be opportunity to speak with students and Admissions Tutors from the majority of UK universities who are very willing to answer pupils’ questions.

A series of mini lectures throughout the day advise pupils on things such as: portfolio preparation; planning a gap year; student finance and support; entry into Medicine, Law and Psychology and many more topics. More information is available on the UCAS website.
