1sts v Wrekin 2nds
As expected, this was a hard-fought match with both teams keeping within a couple of goals of each other throughout. Martha Twigg's speed onto loose balls set up good attacking moves which gave the defence time to re-group. The use of the entire squad worked well as "fresh legs" were useful in a game played at this constant speed. The whole squad played excellently, supporting each other at all times and keeping their heads under pressure.
Oswestry won 28-26

U16s
With several players missing, the U16s struggled but were determined in their play and worked well as a team. At half time, Wrekin led 12 - 3. In the third quarter, we began to catch up, making several vital interceptions and with some good attacking play. Alex Mowbray scored some excellent goals from long range. Unfortunately, in the last quarter, we began to tire and Wrekin stormed ahead to win the match 25-9.
U15s
This was a tough match for the U15s who played against an excellent team. We struggled to match the pace of the Wrekin players and made some basic errors with passing and footwork which broke down our attack on several occasions. Wrekin continued to dominate and scored at every opportunity. The match ended with a heavy defeat for us, losing 38-1.

The rest of the game was very exciting with both teams drawing ahead at different stages, culminating in a deserved draw at the end of the match.
