Edward Runs For Hope House

Just come to hand are these pictures of Edward Ellis-Cooper of Year 6 taking part in this year's Santa Fun Run in aid of Hope House.

Well done to Edward who raised £50 for the charity through sponsorship.

"Oswestry was a sea of red today when around 1,000 Santas took to the streets in aid of Hope House Hospice.

The rain held off as the run was started by Radio Shropshire's Eric Smith who is playing Eric the Elf in this year's panto at Shrewsbury Music Hall.

Organisers hope that this year's event will top the £52,000 raised at last year's Santa Run."
