Bellan House - Year 2
Bienvenue à la Crêperie de Mademoiselle Shaw
As part of a recent French topic on food and drink pupils in Year 2 this afternoon visited ‘La Crêperie de Mademoiselle Shaw’ located on the second floor of Bellan House. Helped out by four very capable ‘serveurs’ (Lloyd Evans, Thomas Jones, Aron Varbiro and Tamara Walker) ‘le chef’, Mademoiselle Shaw served up a scrumptious array of delights.
The children enjoyed practising newly learnt vocabulary as they ordered drinks such as ‘le coca’, ‘la limonade’ et ‘le jus d’orange and crêpes aux poires, chocolat, chantilly et citron avec le sucre. A fun French lesson was had by all!
