Christmas Lights Ceremony, Festival Square 3.15pm

The traditional switching-on ceremony of Oswestry's Christmas lights took place on Festival Square this afternoon.

Councillor Miss Betty Gull, introduced carols from Bellan House choir before leading all the children in the crowd in the final countdown to the switching-on of the lights.
