Shropshire Festival of Verse and Prose

Success for Oswestry School Students

Oswestry School pupils took part in the Shropshire Festival of Verse and Prose, held at Moreton Hall School, on Saturday 13th October.

Successes included first places for Evie Lacey (reading) and Rhys Gaynor (public speaking). Second places were achieved by Emily Roberts and Lizzie Jones (duologue) and Verity Bowen (memorised prose).

 

Third places went to Quiana Booker for prose reading and, with Charlotte Blake, in duoverse. Third places were also attained by Lewis Bebb and Edward Ellis-Cooper in duologue and Sam Skubala in monologue.

 

Evie Lacey also won a third place for verse and Emily Roberts a third for memorised prose.

 

All Oswestry School pupils taking part achieved a top three position.
