Year 9 have been studying animal cells at the start of this term and came into the Biology lab today to show the results of their 'Make a 3D Model of an Animal Cell of Your Choice' prep.
Cells modelled included cone cells, red blood cells, sperm cells and other, more rarified, cells. One pupil even baked a cake to represent an egg cell being fertilised by sperm (it didn't survive the class and is seen here on a photo held up to the camera).
