Following the visit to LEAP School by the South Africa Netball Tour this summer, we will be having an 'Own Clothes' Day to raise money towards the next phase of the project incl a computer lab, transport to the school and camps for the kids etc.
The proceeds of the day will be shared with Cure Leukemia a new charity established to support a Leukemia Centre serving the West Midlands. Based at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham, its objectives are aimed specifically at addressing the needs of leukemia patients and carers in the region.
The suggested theme of the day will be the colours orange and black as these are the LEAP School colours.
Mrs Keighley will be giving a presentation to the school on October 12th to provide more info on LEAP.
