Sixth Form Information Evening

Choosing a Sixth Form is a significant step in the career path of your son or daughter.

Oswestry School Sixth Form aims to provide the right balance of structured study, self-development and independent choice that prepares students for the greater challenges of university and the world of work.

Paul Stockdale, Headmaster, said: ‘We believe the Sixth Form is much more than an extension of the Upper School.  With the emergence of many large sixth forms elsewhere, the Sixth Form at Oswestry School preserves the warmth, friendship and individual attention often lost in more impersonal establishments.’

The school’s A level results are first class, with the majority of leavers proceeding to degree courses at top universities. There is a long standing tradition of entry to Oxford and Cambridge.

Parents and pupils are invited to visit the school for the Sixth Form information evening on Tuesday 6th November. The event will be held in the school’s main hall, the Peter Humphreys Centre, at 7pm and will provide an insight into our highly successful Sixth Form and offer useful information for current and prospective Year 11 pupils and their parents.
