Exchange Group Arrives for Years 10 to 13

Oswestry Borough Mayor, Cllr Neil Arthan, greeted a group of Year 10 and 11 students from Otto-Hahn Gymnasium, Landau, Rhineland, Pfalz, Germany, who visited Oswestry School on an exchange visit.  As well as joining in school life, including singing in the school choir during our Carol Service, the students enjoyed trips to Chester, the theatre, ten-pin-bowling and the sea-life aquarium during their stay.  The group was hosted by families of Oswestry School students and the return leg of the exchange will take place in February half term 2008.  The Modern Foreign Languages department at Oswestry School has a forthcoming exchange arranged with a school in France and plans are also underway for a Russian exchange.
