Mixed House Competition

 

As usual, in spite of the muddy conditions, this was a tournament which everyone enjoyed.  The boys' hard hitting set up good attacking moves but many of the 1st team girls were not afraid to move in for the tackles.  Unfortunately, a couple of accidents occurred where the girls received hard hits to their legs!  Geraint Jones showed skilled stick work though, after playing on astroturf, the muddy conditions made things more difficult for him.  George Reid also showed some skilful moves; all the goalkeepers were put under pressure at some stage and reacted very well indeed.


A very good afternoon of hockey and a lovely finish to the season.
