Oswestry Won 2-1
Match Analysis
1st Half
The possession was equal with both teams passing well and creating chances. Emmanuel scored and led 1-0 at half time.
2nd Half
We started a lot stronger than the first half and were focussed from the whistle, determined to capitalise on our chances. We demonstrated some good passing in the midfield and worked hard as a team to maintain possession. Our defence played well and tackled effectively to clear any chances created by Emmanuel. Charlotte Canlett worked extremely hard on the right wing making some some excellent crosses and also some important tackles to regain the possession. A series of excellent passes allowed Chelsea Harper to skip past several defenders and finish with a fine srike to level the score. Five minutes later, after some hard work in the midfield, Alex Mowbray dribbled the ball into the danger zone and scored to put us 2-1 up. We continued to create some good chances but Emmanel defended well with their goal keeper making some good saves. They also created some good chances but our defence supported each other and tackled well with Katy Yates consistent in the sweeping role.
Congratulations to the 1st XI squad; it was another good team performance. Thank you for all your efforts this season.
