U16 County Plate Tournament, Hadley Learning Community, 3pm

The tournament started with rain, and ended  with TORRENTIAL rain, which left everyone looking like drowned rats but did nothing to diminish the enthusiasm of all the schools taking part in the tournament.

The Oswestry squad made a good start, winning their first match 14-0 v Madeley Academy.  Unfortunately, they lost the next match to William Brookes 4-7.  They picked themselves up and started to play better again, winning 11-2 against Idsall and 9-1 against Ludlow.  This placed them as runners-up in the Plate Tournament.

Well done to all the squad as they battled against terrible weather conditions.
