Mrs Durham's Big Adventure!

This is a special item that deserves its own entry here.

The Parents' Association of Oswestry School, Bellan House is hugely grateful to Oswestry's Lindstrand Hot Air Balloons Ltd, the world's largest manufacturer of airships, who generously brought one of their hot air balloons to the Maes-y-llan today to give Mrs Durham, Bellan House Headmistress, a spectacular send-off as she enjoyed her 20th, and final, Bellan Sports Day before retiring this summer.

Many thanks to all the parents and pupils who made this afternoon such a success and particularly to the Parents' Association who had arranged all the afternoon's entertainments.
