Utkarsh Meena and Sohm Buchasia, two sixth form boys from Gwalior in India, are spending their summer holidays on a pupil exchange visit here at Oswestry School. The boys are finding Oswestry quite a different experience to their home at the Scindia School situated in the centre of India. Founded over 110 years ago, for the sons of Indian princes and nobles, Scindia School, now a public residential school for boys, is located within the 1,000 year old Gwalior Fort.
Arriving in the UK earlier than Sohm, Utkarsh has already taken part in our Sports Day and, having received his commemorative badge to celebrate Oswestry School's 600th Anniversary, he also appeared in the recent school photograph.
