Presentation ‘Preparation for the Sixth Form’

 

Dear Parents,

 

I should like to bring to your attention details of the Preparation for the Sixth Form to be held on Tuesday 3rd July.

 

The timetable is as follows:

 

Arrival PHC:  9.15

 

Presentation:  9.30 – 10.30, PHC

 

Q&A:  10.30 – 10.45

 

Refreshments:  10.45 – 11.00 in VIth Form common rooms.

 

Meetings with Heads of Departments (appointments to be made in advance of the preparation day):  11.00 – 12.10

 

Book returns:  11.00 – 12.10

 

It is important that all pupils who intend to return to school in September attend this introductory induction.  Valuable information will be imparted and in addition pupils will get an opportunity to talk with Heads of Departments (by prior arrangement) about details of subject specifications.  A full and comprehensive induction will take place for all members of the Lower Sixth in September.  School uniform should be worn on this occasion.  Pupils should also book a lunch if they intend to take one.

 

Please note that all books should be returned to the Library and/or school shop on this morning.

 

May I also remind you that all pupils are expected to attend Final Assembly on Friday 6th July and Speech Day on Saturday 7th July.
