A party of boarders from Guinevere House went to the ballet!

This spectacular ballet is here played with the original choreography by Marius Petipa, choreographer of the Mariinsky Theatre and for the Imperial Russian Ballet School. Breathtakingly beautiful and classically staged, set against enchanting German fairytale castles, dense forests and moonlit lakes, Swan Lake features Tchaikovsky's hauntingly beautiful music, romantic tragedy, two great pas de deux and the dual role of Odette/Odile. A 120 strong company with an impressive corps de ballet of over 50 dancers and a large live orchestra bring you the best of Russian ballet."
