Victories for Oswestry School U14 and U15 netball teams
Wednesday 11th January 2012
U14 v Shrewsbury High School (B Team)
The first half was very even with both sides having equal possession and 3 goals each by the end of the half. In the second half we began to dominate the play. Our attack demonstrated many excellent pieces of play and allowed our shooters to capitalise. Our defence continued to work hard and denied the Shrewsbury attack by making many vital interceptions and marking effectively. We continued to maintain the pressure and extended our lead which resulted in a convincing and well deserved victory of 11 - 5. Particular mention must go to Jessica Pugh and Isobel Adegboyega for their outstanding defensive work. Overall player of the match went to Jessica Pugh.
U15 v Shrewsbury (B Team)
A strong performance by our U15's which resulted in a comfortable and well deserved victory of 14-3. It was an excellent team effort with all players peforming well. Particular mention must go to Caitlin Jones (Player of the match) for her excellent defensive work and also to Lizzie Jones for her consistent shooting.
Well done to both teams, an excellent performance by Oswestry School.

A comfortable and convincing win of 37-15 by our U16's who dominated the game throughout. Player of the match went to Jessica Tomley for her outstanding defensive work.
