Our Year 3 and 4 boys and girls took part in the second week of the kwik cricket festival. The visitors to school this week were Our Lady and St Oswald’s Primary school.
Once again the Maes-y-llan was a sight to behold with three matches taking place at the same time around the cricket square under glorious sunshine.
Both schools worked extremely hard and played some excellent cricket. However, it was Oswestry that came out on top winning two out of the three matches played.
All of the Oswestry boys and girls did extremely well with a special mention to Ruby Read who took an outstanding one handed catch. Both the boys and girls are making huge strides and should be very pleased with their efforts.
