After winning the toss up, Oswestry were able to have first push back, this put the team in a positive mood. The game began a little messy by both teams with passes hit to the opposition and unnecessary interceptions. Lisa Sheppard showed her brilliant skills and allowed us to maintain possession within our scoring half, giving us chances at goal. This allowed Natalie Makin to slot the ball into the corner of the goal. With the first goal we began to see Tettenhall becoming distracted and it began to show in their behaviour. We ignored this and stayed as a team and Mollie Robinson scored the second goal just before half time after lovely dribbling down the wing.

Tettenhall scored a goal early into the second half. We were still one up and were not going to let them score again. Lizzie Jones demonstrated great play to Fran Dyke down the centre allowing the ball to be taken into the circle and Molly Robinson scored once again to put us three ahead. Brilliant defence from Laura Kendall, Ellie Chambers and Bethan Walford prevented Tettenhall from scoring and allowed us once again to have a shot at goal with a great hit from Natalie Makin into the left corner. The match ended 4-1 to us, with Oswestry really pulling together as a team, with excellent play all around. Player of the match was awarded to Natalie Makin for her great goals and passing.
