U13 XV vs Welshpool High School
On Tuesday 13th March Oswestry School welcomed Welshpool high School. The game got under way and sadly Oswestry didn’t have their head in the game and conceded a try in the first few minutes. Oswestry were saddened by this a put there heads down even more but with other team sprits still going Oswestry started to believe that they could give Welshpool a run for their money.
With Welshpool using their big strong lads against our weaker lads they just kept on getting run away tries but Oswestry skills were better. This brought us to half time.
Oswestry being told they need to belt up, did so and only conceded one try in the second half. Oswestry were given a penalty on Welshpool’s five metre line and they went over to score a converted try. This brought an end to the match.

Oswestry were told to put this behind them and to move on to their next match, Wrekin College on Saturday which they are expected to win.
