U13 XV vs Abbey Gate College Match Report
On Saturday the 29th January Oswestry welcomed a strong Abbey Gate College side. With Oswestry School receiving, the game got under way. With Oswestry being a strong side a tiny miss pass from Abbey Gate allowed Oswestry to intercept and score in the first five minutes.

As Abbey Gate become stronger they were able to slip through with two tries before half time. With a big team talk from Mr. Evans and Mr. Robb, Oswestry got their act together and went back on to come off with a win in the bag. With slick hands through the backs and lots of aggression from the pack Oswestry were once again able to slip through Abbey Gate ’s defence to score the winning try.
From then on in Oswestry were under massive pressure and were on the back foot all the time but it was too little too late for Abbey Gate. Oswestry come home with their fourth win in a row this season.
Man of the match goes to Archie Kynaston-Evans for his brilliant ripping, offloading of the ball and brilliant support runs.
