U11 Kwik Cricket vs Whittington Primary School

The U11’s cricket team played their first kwik cricket match of the season, in which they recorded a convincing victory over Whittington Primary School. The format was pairs cricket, with each pair facing two over each. Oswestry batted first and scored a very respectable sixty eight off their eight overs with Xavi Clarke and Sam Champion hitting twenty eight off one over. The opposition were under a lot of pressure to reach their target and through excellent bowling from everyone involved Oswestry were able to restrict Whittington to only twenty five. This was an excellent all round effort and the boys should be truly proud of their efforts. Well done.
