Track & Field Event Championships medal winners

Edward Ellis Cooper (4th Form) and Daisy Tickner (Lower 6) continued to prove themselves successful in the Shropshire Schools Track & Field Championships this year.

Edward came second in the long jump and was chosen to represent Shropshire Schools at the Masons Trophy (an invitiation competition where athletes from ten counties compete for places in the English Schools Team), quite an achievement as he was the youngest in his age group.

Daisy took part in the senior girls category and came home with a gold medal in the 800m and a silver in the 400m.
