NSSSA GALA – MORETON HALL – 23^rd NOVEMBER 2011

The competition that we faced on this occasion was the toughest we have ever seen and there were club, county, regional and national swimmers on the various teams.

The boys and girls did a sterling job and gave 100% effort making every point count. Our double first winners were Leon Parkes and Luc Jarzynski, well done boys, and other first placed swimmers were Romana Parkes (individual swim), U19 boys relay team and U13 boys relay team.

Unfortunately this year, the medley relays were cancelled which meant that our strong teams did not get the chance to score the double points available.

I would like to give a special thank you to Jess Pugh and Izzy Adegboyega for the tremendous effort that they put in, being in the U15 team of just the two of them. Well done girls, everyone agreed that you did a fantastic job.

Thank you too to Mr Mackay and Sam Kaelin for keeping poolside sane, timekeeping and helping to supervise the relays. I appreciated your help enormously.
