Bellan House Foodbank contribution
Oswestry’s Bellan House School has joined forces with the town’s foodbank to help provide meals for needy people in the area.
The school has set up a container in the hallway and is inviting children and parents to donate food items to help the Oswestry and Borders Foodbank.
The food needs to be non-perishable and in date, and is then passed on to the foodbank to be distributed to people in the Oswestry and borders area.
Items that would be suitable are UHT milk, long life juice, tins of vegetable, potatoes and fruit. Large boxes of breakfast cereal, tins or cartons of custard, sugar and instant coffee.
