Pupils take part in Race for Life-2012
The Guinevere girls were joined by a handful of day pupils and members of staff to run the Race for Life in Shrewsbury. They all enjoyed the minibus journey there and took part in a fun warm up before the race began. Miss James, Tara Annison and Darcie Farnsworth were first over the start line, with Miss James then going on to win!
Many of the girls, some of whom have been personally affected by cancer found it very moving as they ran, reading all the messages written on the other women's backs. The whole group all felt a sense of satisfaction finishing the 5 kilometres, and were very glad that they had taken part in such a worthwhile event.
