Pupil wins Ski Scholarship
Many congratulations to Deputy Head Boy and Donne House Captain Oliver Newman, who has been selected, out of around 3,000 nominated skiers from the 2010/11 Interski season, for the Interski Scholarship.
Interski will train Oliver at BASI 1 and BASI 2 level, which will allow him to teach skiing on a dry or indoor slope and on an open mountain.
During December Oliver completed the first part of his training in Italy and will return in April to complete his study and training.
Upon completion he will receive his British Alpine Ski Instructor licence (BASI). Interski provide Oliver, free of charge, all return transport, accommodation, full board, insurance, lift passes, ski jacket, skis, boots and poles.
