Oswestry School welcomes ABF cyclists
Oswestry School was delighted to support a fundraising bike ride from John O'Groats to Lands' End. The brave Army Cadet force officers who took part were cheered into the Maes-y-Llan as part of their journey.
With guidance from School Staff Instructor Lt Jason Till, Oswestry School's Combined Cadet Force were the only school CCF in the country to give support to the challenge which was set up to raise money and awareness for the ABF The Soldiers' charity (formerly The Army Benevolent Fund).
The event started on May 22nd at John O'Groats and finished at Lands' End on June 1st.
