Olympic Torch passes through Oswestry
The Olympic Torch passed through Oswestry on 30th May. Bellan House pupils were lucky enough to step out of the front door to watch it go through Church Street. Pupils from the Senior School (unless they were in examinations) were invited to watch this memorable occasion. Pupils had the chance to speak to the local MP Owen Patterson while they were waiting.
There was an exciting and energetic build up by the Olympic sponsors before the flame travelled swiftly by to its next destination of Pant.
