Bellan House pupils were introduced to the work of the Midlands Air Ambulance. Equipment and an air ambulance simulator were set up on the Maes-y-llan. During the morning classes took their turn trying on helmets, sitting in the pilot seat and learning more about the work that is carried out by the Air Ambulance.

Maria Jones, a representative from MAA used morning assembly to talk about the charity and answer questions.

Pupils enjoyed sitting in the cockpit of the helicopter 'shell' and in the process were made more aware how the MAA saves lives by saving time.

The fundraising Barn Dance held on 15th June raised £541.70 despite the weather. Those that attended enjoyed a hog roast and the challenge of new dance moves!
