Careers & Higher Education Convention

The School held a Careers and Higher Education Convention in the PHC. It was designed to provide pupils from Year 9 upwards with information and guidance about future jobs, careers, university applications and gap years. Year 12 received specific information about UCAS applications and personal statements to help them make the strongest application possible.

There were delegates from several universities in England and Wales, ISCO and EBP.

In addition to this there were also representatives from professional and commercial backgrounds, ranging from physiotherapy to accountancy.

Thank you to all the organisations that attended and to the pupils who conducted themselves well and approached the representatives confidently. They gleaned plenty of information about career paths open to them. It seemed a timely opportunity for many pupils to start focusing on how to achieve their goals.
