Water Based Activities
Oswestry School gives the opportunity for students to develop skills in up to four different types of water based activities: kayaking; open canoeing; sea kyaking; and OSSA. Please click on the read more button for further information.
Adventure Education and the CCF
Oswestry School's Combined Cadet Force offers its members the opportunity to attend the Cadet Centres for Adventurous Training to undertake Adventure Training courses that are sponsored by the armed forces. The courses are exactly as you would find in any centre and offer excellent value for money which allows cadets to access activities that may not otherwise try.
Expeditions
The school has a long tradition of expeditions which includes trekking the Inca Trail in Peru, various activities in Corsica and, most notably, the ascent of an unclimbed peak in the Himalayas resulting in its being named St Oswalds.
